Essential storage, plus optional analytics with your consent. No advertising tracking.

Summary

CV One uses essential technologies that are strictly necessary to run the service (sign-in, saving your CV, payments). These don't need your consent.

With your permission, we also use first-party analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the website and improve the service. Analytics only start after you choose "Accept analytics". We don't use advertising or marketing tracking, and we don't share analytics with third-party analytics companies.

Analytics

If you accept analytics, CV One records: pages viewed, product actions (for example uploading, analysing or exporting a CV, starting checkout), the referring website's domain, any campaign source in the link, a random visit ID and, if you're signed in, your account ID. We never record the contents of your CV, job descriptions or AI-generated text in analytics.

We use this to see which features help people, where they get stuck and how visitors find CV One. The data is stored in CV One's own database (Lovable Cloud) and is only viewable in aggregate by CV One's administrators. It is not anonymous when you are signed in, because it can be linked to your account.

Your choices

You can accept or decline analytics in the cookie banner, and change or withdraw your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer. Withdrawing stops analytics immediately and removes the visit ID. Essential storage can't be switched off within CV One, but you can clear it in your browser settings (this will sign you out and remove any unsaved demo CV). See our Privacy Policy for more.
